Have you noticed young people supporting the Free Palestine marches? Do you struggle to understand why these same freedom-loving students openly support totalitarian regimes and communist policies? How can it be?

If you were to speak to your parents about the war. Or if you are lucky enough, your grandparents, you get a very different take on socialism.

In 1945, a young boy heard the air raid sirens wind up and begin their ominous howl. In fear he fled, with his family, to their little air raid shelter they had at the bottom of the garden. Unlike previous occasions the boy was hit by shrapnel in the leg. Not a serious wound, but it does seem to get more serious on each re-telling. I swear by 2025 it will be an ME-109 and singled him out and squeezed off a whole magazine of tracer at him. Before racing off Bosch-side for beer and bratwurst.

That man is my father, and hes no fan of Hitler. Or any form of totalitarianism for that matter. He loves, and cherishes freedom.

Why dont more youngsters feel the same? In my opinion it is because they have never known tyranny. They take freedom for granted. They are, in short, complacent.

I dont blame them. My generation - Gen X - has failed to pass on a legacy of understanding. Through our institutions we have signally failed to inform them of the horrors of communism. The death and destruction and evil that goes with them.

This website is in part an attempt to undo that damage. To inform, to guide, to provide support for men who want to improve themselves, who want to understand their heritage, their history and their countries values.

In short, I want to start a conversation on what it is to be a man in 21st Century society.
